Virtuoso™/Soloist® Language Lab “Hands-on” Technology Integration Workshops
August 19, 2014 - August 22, 2014
Virtuoso™/Soloist® Language Lab “Hands-on” Technology Integration Workshops provided by Language Lab Training & Resource, Inc.
Summer’s the time to rest, relax, and recover from another busy and productive school year. It’s also the time to prepare yourself for next August. Having instructional technology tools for language learning is essential. Effectively using those tools occurs with planning, training and acquired knowledge. To ensure you are up to date, have access to, and make the most of your technology resources I suggest the following.
- Create your summer Professional Development plan. Summer is focused uninterrupted time for you to recharge and be the learner. Make the technology tools available in your SANS Language Lab one of your main learning goals this summer to enhance your own productivity and your students’ achievement. Attend The Regional Summer Two Day Virtuoso/Soloist Workshop at Glastonbury High School (click this link to register)
- Back Up/SAVE a copy of all your digital lesson plans and materials
- Check with your IT department to see if they are upgrading your classroom or language lab computers this summer. If yes, make sure you give them a list of the programs currently installed on your classroom or language lab PCs. For example if they are upgrading the language lab your list will probably include Virtuoso, Soloist, and Microsoft Office. It’s better to verify now rather than not have what you need at the beginning of the school year.
We hope you take advantage of this SANS language lab specific training. If you have any questions please contact Sandy Hayward of LLTR, sandy@languagelabtraining.com
